Suzuki Aircon Parts We Source
Compressors and the parts that must go on with them. Send your model, year and engine code.

Compressor β Small Hatch
A/C compressor
- The compact units off the small three- and four-cylinder engines
- Good donor supply, since these are the highest-volume cars on local roads
- Confirm the pulley diameter and plug type against your engine, not just the model
Priced against your VIN, because two of these that look identical often are not.

Compressor β MPV & Crossover
A/C compressor
- Larger cabins mean the compressor works harder, especially in summer traffic
- Some MPVs feed a second rear evaporator β say whether yours has rear vents
- Check the mounting bracket while it is off; vibration cracks them over time
Priced against your VIN, because two of these that look identical often are not.

Compressor β Jimny & Older 4x4
A/C compressor
- Longitudinal engine layout means completely different bracketry to the hatches
- Off-road use throws grit and water at the clutch face β inspect it closely
- Generations differ substantially, so the year matters more here than usual
Priced against your VIN, because two of these that look identical often are not.

Clutch, Coil & Pulley
Clutch plate Β· coil Β· pulley bearing
- Often the actual fault β a burnt-out clutch coil rather than a dead compressor
- A pulley that spins but never engages points here, not at the pump behind it
- Much cheaper than a complete unit, so check before replacing everything
Priced against your VIN, because two of these that look identical often are not.

Receiver Drier & Seal Kit
Drier Β· expansion valve Β· O-rings
- The drier must be replaced with every compressor β it is not an optional extra
- If the old compressor seized, the system needs flushing before anything new goes on
- Skipping this is the single most common reason a replacement compressor fails
Priced against your VIN, because two of these that look identical often are not.
We do not publish figures for these. A used unit is priced on the donor vehicle it came out of, so the honest answer only exists once we know which car yours is β which is why every button on this page asks for your details rather than showing you a number we made up.

Replacing a Suzuki Aircon Compressor
Aircon is not a luxury in a South African summer, and in a small car with a lot of glass it stops being tolerable very quickly once it fails. The good news is that a compressor is one of the more affordable serious repairs on these cars. The bad news is that it is also one of the most commonly botched, because people replace the pump and nothing else and are back with the same fault a few months later.
Two things are worth establishing before you order. The first is that the compressor may not be the fault at all β a burnt-out clutch coil or a seized pulley bearing produces exactly the same symptom of a system that does nothing when you press the button, and both cost considerably less to put right. Get someone to confirm the pump itself is actually dead. The second is that if a compressor genuinely seized, it will have shed metal through the whole system, and fitting a new one without flushing the lines and replacing the receiver drier simply feeds that debris straight into the new pump. Budget for the drier and the flush from the outset rather than discovering you need them later.
