Interior for a Suzuki — read this before you order
Strip away the catalogue language and what you are actually choosing between here is whether the replacement has to be an exact trim match, or whether a near-equivalent lifted from a different spec of the same car will do the job.
Interior parts are where Suzuki's sibling models diverge most. The XL6 and the Ertiga share the mechanical package but not the seating; the Eeco is sold in panel and passenger form with different rear layouts; and entry derivatives across the range go without the mounting provision that higher specs assume is there.
So we price interior against your specific car, not against a badge. Send through the derivative, the trim colour, and confirmation that the car left the factory with the feature you are replacing, and we will come back to you on what fits — whether yours is one of the small hatches, the SUVs, or one of the commercials , what it will cost, and how soon we can have it moving.
Interior, explained
Two things decide whether an interior part fits, and neither of them is the model name. The first is trim level. Suzuki specifies its grades quite differently — on several models the base GL grade carries front airbags only, while the GLX grade above it adds side and curtain airbags, and the higher grade commonly brings a different steering wheel, a different instrument cluster, different switchgear and a different infotainment head unit. A dashboard or a steering wheel out of one grade is not a like-for-like replacement in another, and airbag hardware in particular must correspond to the car it goes into. That is a safety component, not a trim part.
The second is South African sun. Cars here are parked outside far more than they are garaged, and the damage is cumulative and predictable: dashboard tops that fade unevenly and eventually craze, door card fabric that goes brittle at the top edge, seat bolsters bleached on the driver side, and plastic clips that snap the moment you disturb them because the plasticiser has gone. Fit a shade in the windscreen and it genuinely helps. Give us the derivative and we will confirm which interior variant your car takes.

Suzuki Interior — questions we get asked
What decides which interior fits my Suzuki?
Interior parts are where Suzuki's sibling models diverge most. The XL6 and the Ertiga share the mechanical package but not the seating; the Eeco is sold in panel and passenger form with different rear layouts; and entry derivatives across the range go without the mounting provision that higher specs assume is there. In practice the decision in front of you is whether the replacement has to be an exact trim match, or whether a near-equivalent lifted from a different spec of the same car will do the job.
What do you need from me to quote interior?
The derivative, the trim colour, and confirmation that the car left the factory with the feature you are replacing. With that we can usually confirm the right part quickly, and we'll tell you whether we're quoting new, aftermarket or good used rather than leaving you to guess.
Can I fit a steering wheel or dashboard from a higher-spec Suzuki?
Cosmetically it may bolt in, but the electrical and safety side is where it goes wrong. Higher grades carry different airbag modules, different clock spring wiring and often extra switch functions the lower-grade loom has no provision for. Airbags must match the car and be fitted by someone competent to handle them. Tell us the derivative and we will match the correct variant.
Why is my airbag warning light on after I had seats fitted?
The most common cause is a disturbed connector under the seat — many cars run a side airbag or an occupancy sensor through a plug there, and disconnecting it with the ignition on sets a stored fault. It needs to be reconnected properly and the code cleared with a scan tool. Do not ignore it, because the system is disabled while that lamp is lit.
How do I stop the dashboard cracking further?
You cannot reverse UV damage, but you can slow it. A reflective windscreen shade when parked in the open does more than any product you apply to the plastic, and parking nose-away from the afternoon sun helps as well. Steer clear of glossy silicone dressings, which add glare in the windscreen and can accelerate surface degradation.
Will a replacement door card or seat match the rest of my interior?
Interior trim comes in a limited set of colours and textures per model, so a panel from the correct grade usually matches far better than anything aftermarket. The complication is fade — a cabin that has stood in the sun for years has shifted colour, and a mint panel out of a garaged donor can look newer than everything around it. Quote the trim colour alongside the model details when you enquire and we will try to find a donor of similar age.
Do seats from another Suzuki model fit?
Occasionally, but rail spacing, mounting points, seatbelt anchorage and any airbag or sensor wiring in the seat all have to line up. Something that appears to fit but sits wrong is a genuine safety issue and will be flagged on a roadworthy inspection. Give us the VIN and we will check against your exact car.
